Pugazhendi petitions against EPS

Salem: Former AIADMK spokesperson Va Pugazhendi petitioned Salem district superintendent of police (SP) M Sree Abhinav on Monday, seeking action against leader of the opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami for his alleged derogatory remarks against chief minister M K Stalin. Talking to reporters here, Pugazhendi said Palaniswami had made derogatory remarks against the chief minister while speaking at a meeting at Nilavarapatty near the city on June12.
He said the co-coordinator of the AIADMK also spoke in an undemocratic way against Stalin and his family members. Pugazhendi demanded action against Palaniswami for his speech.
