Ludhiana reports 22 new Covid-19 cases

LUDHIANA: 22 persons, 17 of Ludhiana tested positive for Covid even as there was no death due to disease here on Wednesday.
A day before, equal number of persons of Ludhiana had tested positive for Covid and there was no death due to disease here.
Health department officials said that with no Covid death reported in the district on Wednesday, the total number of deaths of the Ludhiana remained at 2282 whereas the number of deaths of outer districts/state in Ludhiana hospitals was 1126.
Health department said that till date 3637137 suspects have been tested for Covid in Ludhiana district. It added that seventeen persons from Ludhiana tested positive for Covid whereas five from outer districts/states was found to be infected with virus here on Wednesday.
Local health department officials said that till Wednesday the total number of patients from Ludhiana district was 110053 whereas with the number of cases from outer districts/states remained at 14781.
Civil surgeon said that till now 107686 Covid positive patients have recovered in Ludhiana district which constitutes 97.85% of the total cases.
