Jaipur: Man dupes Bihar official of ₹8L, held by Jawahar Circle Police

JAIPUR: The Jawahar Circle police on Tuesday arrested a man for allegedly cheating a Bihar-based official of Rs 8 lakh after promising to organise a destination wedding for her in Jaipur.
SHO, Radha Raman Gupta said that the official had filed an FIR stating that she had contacted the accused, Saurabh Sharma after seeing his website for destination weddings.
Sharma and his partner Akash Saraswat took an advance of Rs 21,000. Also, the two accused subsequently asked the complainant to pay money under different tranches. The accused took a total of Rs 8.95 lakh. TNN
