Rahul Gandhi is appearing before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) again on Tuesday in connection with the money laundering probe into the
National Herald newspaper.
The ED officials on Monday questioned the Congress MP for about 11 hours. Officials said as Gandhi's questioning could not be completed on Monday, he was summoned again on Tuesday.
In Monday’s session, the Congress leader was asked about transactions related to the acquisition of Associated Journals Ltd, publisher of the National Herald and other Congress publications, by Young Indian for Rs 50 lakh.

Gandhi arrived at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) headquarters on APJ Abdul Kalam Road in central Delhi with his "Z+" category CRPF security escort even as police personnel were deployed in huge numbers and section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) was imposed around the agency's office just like Monday.

'Rahul's questioning by ED unconstitutional'The Congress said Rahul Gandhi's questioning by the Enforcement Directorate in the National Herald-AJL case is "unconstitutional and malicious" and aimed at muzzling the fearless voice of the people of the country.
Congress general secretary and chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala claimed that the Centre is scared of Gandhi's politics as he is raising issues concerning the public and asked whether he has become a hurdle in the path of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi protecting the interests of his "cronies".
"This entire exercise is illegal, unconstitutional, malicious and an exercise by a prime minister burning in the fire of political vendetta," Surjewala said.
"The government is scared of Rahul Gandhi's politics as he is raising issues concerning the common people," he said.
Surjewala also said the protest march by Congress leaders in support of the former party chief will continue, adding that the "descendants of (Mahatma) Gandhi will not fear from the descendants of (Nathuram) Godse".
Congress leaders detainedSeveral Congress leaders, including K C Venugopal and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, were detained for violating prohibitory orders outside the heavily barricaded party headquarters on Tuesday.
Ahead of his second day of questioning, the former Congress chief joined senior party leaders at a 'dharna' at the Congress headquarters. Several Congress leaders were detained by Delhi Police and taken away to different police stations.
Among those detained were Gaurav Gogoi, Deepender Singh Hooda, Ranjeet Ranjan, Manickam Tagore and Imran Pratapgarhi.
