Jaipur: As hundreds of unemployed youths staged a protest at
Saheed Smarak over four separate demands on Monday, president of the
Rajasthan Berojgar Ekikrit Mahasangh,
Upen Yadav announced if all their demands were not fulfilled by the state government, then effigies of
Congress MLAs would be burnt in their assembly constituencies on October 2.
He said if the state government doesn’t take any action even after that, they would launch a ‘Congress-mukt
Yatra’ in the villages and districts from January 2, 2023. On Monday, a meeting of the representatives of the mahasangh with the officials at the chief minister’s office over their demands failed, informed Yadav.
The four demands include- recruitment of 6,000 technical helpers as announced by the Congress government in its first budget.
Secondly the government should release advertisements for panchayati raj JEN recruitment exam by adding 539 posts to existing 2100 posts and conducting a written examination.
Thirdly, recruitment of junior accountants should be excluded from CET and its exam dates should be announced. Their last demand is that unemployed youths of the state should be given priority in competitive examinations. tnn
