
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) publishes a calendar of bank holidays in India. The bank holidays differ by region and by state. As a result, holidays differ from state to state. June is one of the months with very few bank holidays.
June bank holidays
There are six weekend holidays (Saturday and Sunday) and two holidays under the Holidays Under Negotiable Instruments Act, according to the Reserve Bank of India website.
The Reserve Bank of India divides bank holidays into three categories: Negotiable Instruments Act, RTGS Holiday, and Bank Account Closing.
