Update from Mysuru region
Among the four constituencies where voting is in progress, the highest number of voters are in the South Graduate constituency. The constituency comprises of four districts - Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan and Chamarajanagar. Among the 150 voting centers, 68 are identified as sensitive and 17 as hyper-sensitive.

Update from Bagalkot
Bagalkot district has 32 polling booths and 16 additional booths for Karnataka NW Graduates Constituency.
Voting starts in 150 polling stations in Mysuru region.
The results of the elections will be declared on Wednesday.
After these elections, the three major parties will have little breathing space before they start preparing for possible local body polls and assembly elections before April-May next year.

BJP is looking to wrest control of the 75-member upper house. Basavaraj Horatti, former counci l chairman who switched from JD(S) to BJP, is a prominent face in the fray. Arun Shahpur and Hanumat Nirani (both BJP) are trying to retain their seats.
