Panchal had planned to kill her husband Lucky Panchal with whom she got married just four months ago. The cops said that they have launched a hunt for three men who had committed the murder.
Arti, a resident of Kathla village, was in a relationship with
Rohit Rajpur of her village for the last eight years. But she got married to Panchal, a resident of Jhabua district in Madhya Pradesh. She lost touch with
Rajpur after her marriage but came in contact with him one-and-a-half months ago.
They both decided to kill Panchal so that they could stay together. Rajpur then roped in Bachu Bhuriya, Pappu Sangadiya and
Ranjit Ninama and paid the trio Rs 30,000 for committing the crime.
Arti was in Dahod and Panchal had planned to visit her on May 31. He later changed the plan and left Jhabua on his motorbike to meet
Arti on June 4. Arti kept calling her husband to know his exact location and then she passed on the information to the contract killers. They kidnapped him outside Jhabua and strangled him. His body was disposed of in forests nearby.
When Panchal went missing, his family approached the police that tracked his mobile phone movement. The cops found his body the next day
