Rohit was taken for a medical test at Delhi's
Hindu Rao Hospital on Saturday in connection with the rape case filed against him.

Deepak Chouhan said police had sought the former's mobile phone for investigation. "The phone has been submitted to police," he said. Rohit had appeared before the investigation officer (IO) of the case at 12.30 pm in Delhi's Sadar Bazar police station. Interrogation continued till 4.30pm.
"Rohit is cooperating in the investigation as per the directions of the court. He has replied truthfully to all questions," Chouhan said. Rohit first appeared before the Sadar Bazar police station on Friday. The IO, then sought his mobile phone and asked him to return on Saturday.
"The Delhi police has asked Rohit to come again for the interrogation on Monday," Chouhan added.
The Delhi police had sought Rohit's mobile phone to examine chats between Rohit and the complainant.
The police are now likely to examine the transcripts of different social media chats between the two. A 24-year-old woman filed an FIR against Rohit on May 8, accusing him of rape. She had also accused him of blackmailing and assaulting her on several occasions.
A Tis Hazari court in New Delhi on Thursday had granted anticipatory bail to Rohit and directed him to join the probe as and when required by the IO, with further directions that he shall not leave the territorial jurisdiction of India and of Delhi without permission of the court concerned.
The investigators have been probing Rohit about the allegations made by the the girl in her FIR. She claimed to have met Rohit on Facebook and accompanied the latter and his friends to
Sawai Madhopur on January 8, 2021, where he allegedly assaulted her and took pictures and videos that he later threatened to release. She accused him of thereafter blackmailing and assaulting her on several occasions.
