NOIDA: Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) officials will now readdress public grievances on five days each week in a time-bound manner. Following a state government directive to resolve people’s complaints on priority, the authority has issued a roster whereby the CEO and ACEOs will meet people from Monday to Friday for two hours and address their grievances.
While CEO Surendra Singh will meet people on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am to noon, ACEO Deep Chandra will redress public grievances on Mondays and ACEOs Aditi Singh and Amandeep Duli on Wednesdays and Thursdays, respectively.
From Monday, the officials will be available for two hours for five days and all kinds of complaints will be received in a single-window system. The CEO and the ACEOs will receive the complaints and then forward them to the departments concerned. The authority officials said the issues like property registration, NOC, sanitation works, upkeep of societies, investment by businessmen, and land allotment among others will be addressed in a time-bound manner. The farmers whose land has been acquired can also approach the GNIDA.
Welcoming the move, Alok Singh, a resident of Sector Alpha 1 in Greater Noida, said, “Earlier, people used to visit different offices with their complaints and most of the time they did not know whom to meet. Now they know who to meet for their grievances,” he said.
