Ahmedabad: Three caught off SBR supplying booze in auto

AHMEDABAD: Vastrapur police on Friday arrested three persons who were allegedly supplying liquor that they had hidden in concealed cavity under the driver’s seat of an autorickshaw. Police recovered 25 bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor from the vehicle.
The three persons arrested are Baldev Makwana, Ankit Parmar and Keval Chauhan. The complaint head constable Ramesh Mangal states that he works for the state monitoring cell. He said they got a tip-off on a suspicious rickshaw in the Sindhu Bhavan Road bylanes, which led to this apprehension. The cops found a locked box under the driver’s seat, which had 25 bottles of of IMFL.
