Now, 20 meals available at Kariavattom

Thiruvananthapuram: Food and civil supplies minister G R Anil on Saturday inaugurated Subhiksha hotel at Kariavattom Government College campus. He said 52 Subhiksha hotels have so far been opened in legislative assembly constituencies across the state.
Subhiksha hotel is a project of the state government which aims at providing food at a fair price to the needy persons as part of ‘hunger free Kerala project’. Meals can be had from the Subhiksha hotel at Rs 20. Other special items will be made available at subsidised rates. The government will give Kudumbasree Rs 5 as subsidy for each meal.
Ward councillor Kavitha L S, Kadakampally Surendran MLA, councillor Chempazhanthy Udayan were also present on the occasion.
