Boy drowns in temple pond

Thiruvananthapuram: A 15-year-old boy drowned while taking bath with his friends in Sreevaraham temple pond at Palkulangara on Saturday.
Adarsh, son of Kunjumon, of Puthuval Puthenveedu at Karikkakom, came along with his friends to take bath at 1pm. Police said the pond is very deep and even expert swimmers are scared to take bath here. Locals warned them not to swim here.
Adarsh went missing all of a sudden in the middle of the pond. His friends soon informed locals and police. Later fire and rescue personnel reached the spot and recovered the body. TNN
