UN adopts India-sponsored resolution on multilingualism mentioning Hindi language for the first time
In a significant initiative, UNGA adopts an India-sponsored resolution on multilingualism mentioning the Hindi language for the first time. The resolution passed on Friday encourages the UN to disseminate important communications in non-official languages, including Hindi.
