Coronavirus India news Live updates: India records 8,329 fresh cases, 10 deaths
India reported 8,329 new Covid cases cases and 10 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Saturday. 4,216 people recuperated from the disease. India is witnessing a fresh spike in Covid infections.

Two dead in Ranchi protest over Prophet row
Two people died during the violent protest that erupted in Ranchi after Friday prayers against the controversial remarks on Prophet Muhammad made by suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Nupur Sharma and expelled leader Naveen Jindal. " Two people have succumbed to their injuries out of total injured who were brought to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) after the violence in Ranchi," confirmed RIMS authorities.
