Absconding criminal held

Chandigarh: The Haryana police have arrested a criminal wanted in an attempt to murder case. He had been absconding since 2019 from Karnal district.
Police spokesperson said accused, identified as Baldev alias Toni, a resident of Dupedi village in Karnal, was wanted in a sensational attempt to murder case. A cash reward of Rs 10,000 for the arrest of the accused was announced by the police in 2021.
The accused will be taken on police remand for interrogation. Earlier, five accused have been arrested in the case. tnn
