Bihar: 3,437 candidates to write CLAT on June 19

PATNA: As many as 3437 candidates will take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), 2022 from seven different centres of Bihar on June 19. The test being conducted this year by National Law University, Raipur, is scheduled to be held at altogether 80 centres located across the country where more than 70,000 candidates are expected to appear.
Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) registrar M P Srivastava told the newspaper that while six examination centres have been made in Patna at Patna Science College, Patna Law College, Magadh Mahila College, St Xavier’s High School, St Michael’s High School, and CNLU, only one centre has been made at L S College in Muzaffarpur. While 2983 candidates will take the examination from the centres in Patna, 454 candidates would appear from the Muzaffarpur centre.
Srivastava said the Consortium of National Law Universities has released the admit cards of all candidates online on Monday. Candidates can now download the admit card from the CLAT 2022 login portal (at consortium onlus.ac.in.), by using their mobile number and password. CLAT admit card 2022 is a mandatory document for appearing in the Common Law Admission Test.
The admit card will carry the candidate’s personal information as well as details related to the examination. The personal information of the candidate is used for identification at the examination centre. Therefore, it must be correct and as per the details submitted by the candidate at the time of registration, said the registrar.
The details mentioned on the admit card include personal information (candidate’s name, category, date of birth, parent/guardian’s name, communication address), passport size photograph of the candidate, examination details, including exam date, time of examination, reporting time, address of examination centre, roll number/admit card number (to be used for reference throughout the CLAT admission process), course name as selected by the candidate while registering for the examination and pre-exam instructions.
The admit card must have the correct information. If, in some cases, the admit card carries some incorrect information such as incorrect name, date of birth etc, candidates must get it corrected by contacting the examination authorities.
CNLU centre superintendent S P Singh said candidates would be allowed to carry inside the examination hall only a hard copy of the CLAT 2022 admit card/hall ticket, a valid photo ID card such as an Aadhar card, voter ID, passport or driving license and a blue or black ballpoint pen. Items such as electronic gadgets, calculators, mobile phones, watches, paper and study materials are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Candidates found in possession of any of the prohibited items will be disqualified from the admission process.
