Assam: Man’s body found, police suspect suicide, kin cry murder

GUWAHATI: The body of a quadragenarian man was found in a rented accommodation in Hatigaon area of the city on Thursday under mysterious circumstance.
The deceased has been identified as Anupam Nath. He used to live in the house with his wife for over one year.
While police suspected it to be a case of suicide, family members of the deceased alleged that Nath has been murdered by his wife. They demanded her arrest.
“Following preliminary probe, we suspect that Nath has died by suicide. Further investigation is in progress,” said a police officer.
