Sikh Guru. Titled ‘Guru Tegh Bahadur: His Life, Travels and Message’; the book is authored by Dharam Singh and Punjabi University Professor
Paramvir Singh.
About his book,
Prof Paramvir, who is also head of Punjabi University’s Encyclopaedia of Sikhism department, said the story of the Guru’s life was supported by 100-odd photographs of places, documents, and artifacts. It covers a discussion on the Guru’s heritage, besides a brief analysis of the religious, social, and political situation around the time Sikhism originated and evolved. The book also covers the
Gurus’ response to the situation till the birth of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
The book has chapters on the Guru’s birth and early life, stay at Baba Bakala up to anointment, travels, places of visit, and martyrdom. tnn
