There was a lot of confusion regarding the health condition of Pervez Musharraf, with several media outlets and social media reports claiming that he has passed away. Pakistani media house Waqt News reported that Musharraf has taken his last breath on June 10 after a tough battle against ailments. Refuting these rumours, a Pakistani journalist named Wajahat Kazmi said that Musharraf is not dead, but his condition remains critical.

Earlier, it was reported that General Musharraf was placed on a ventilator yesterday, and his condition was deteriorating. It was also reported that he had been admitted to a hospital in United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is currently in the ICU.
Pervez Musharraf, who is the former president of Pakistan, assumed the position after a successful military takeover of the nation in 1999, overthrowing the federal government. He remained the 10th President of Pakistan from 2001 to 2008, after which he tendered his resignation to avoid impeachment during his tenure.
