Bommai slams TN over moving SC on Cauvery

Mysuru: A day after Tamil Nadu filed an objection in the Supreme Court stating Karnataka cannot table the Mekedatu project at the court-constituted Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA), chief minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday criticised the TN government’s stand.
Bommai said that the lower riparian state has no jurisdiction to seek the Supreme Court’s directive to the Union government regarding the projects. tnn
