Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that Biotech Startup Expo 2022 will strengthen 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' movement in the sector while inaugurating the event at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. He also said that India's 'bio economy' has grown eight times in last 8 years. Union Ministers Jitendra Singh, Piyush Goyal and Dharmendra Pradhan were also present at the event. According to the Prime Minister's Office, the Biotech Startup Expo - 2022 is a two-day event being held on June 9 and 10.
