Rajkot: Four caught within hours of robbing man of ₹5 lakh, scooter

RAJKOT: Within hours of the incident, the special operation group (SOG) of Rajkot police caught four persons who had robbed a pesticide firm employee of Rs 5 lakh along with his scooter in Mayani Chowk on Wednesday.
SOG inspector JD Zala said they traced the robbers after scanning the CCTV footage of the area. Police nabbed Mahendra alias Lalo, Chirag Jadav and two minors.
They had waylaid the victim Vishal Dhorecha who had gone to collect the cash from an angadiya firm on Gondal Road. Dhorecha had kept the cash in the two-wheeler's boot space.
Police had recovered the entire cash and his vehicle.
