Man held for misbehaving with woman on sleeper bus

Mangaluru: The Kankanady town police have arrested a man for allegedly misbehaving with a woman, who was travelling in a Bengaluru-Mangaluru sleeper bus on Tuesday.
Mahammed Mustafa,24, who works in a footwear shop in Bengaluru, and hails from BC Road, has been arrested.
City police commissioner N Shashi Kumar told the media on Wednesday, that the woman working in a private company, was travelling in a bus that left Bengaluru on Monday, to reach the city the next day.
She had reportedly brought to the notice of the driver and other co-passengers, that the accused was misbehaving with her at 5 am.
The woman was travelling for a job interview with a private airline, and when she got down at Pumpwell, he again misbehaved with her, and left the place. After attending the interview, the woman filed a complaint. A case has been registered under IPC Section 354 (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty).
