PATNA: Almost all the universities in the state have started the process of online admission to the undergraduate courses in different streams for the academic session 2022-23. The admissions in both constituent and affiliated colleges of the universities are likely to be completed before the commencement of classes in the new session commencing in July.
Patna University (PU) was the first to start online submission of applications for admission to all its undergraduate courses in both conventional (regular) and self-financing (vocational) streams on May 2. The last date of submission was to end on June 4, but it was extended by 20 days due to non-publication of the results of class 12 examination conducted by CBSE and ICSE.
Now, candidates desirous of securing a seat in PU colleges may apply till June 25. The entrance test for admission to the regular courses and self-financing courses would be held on July 9 and 12, respectively. All admissions to the undergraduate courses would be completed by August 20 and the classes of the newly-admitted students would start on September 2 after an induction meet, said students’ welfare dean

In
Patliputra University, the admission portal (www.admission.ppuponline.in.) has already been opened and the online submission of applications for admission to all its UG courses in different colleges has commenced. The last date for online submission of applications for admission in the university is July 12.
Purnia University has also announced its admission schedule for all its undergraduate courses in the academic session 2022-23. The online submission of applications for admission to BA, BSc and BCom courses running in all its degree colleges commenced on June 3. The last date for submission of applications for both regular and vocational courses in the university is June 18. The details of colleges and courses are available on the university’s website (www.purneauniversity.ac.in).
The online submission of applications for admission to the UG courses in all the 37 constituent colleges of B R Ambedkar
Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, commenced on May 5 itself. The extended last date for submission of duly filled-in applications is June 16.
Munger University has also started the process of admission to the UG courses in all its 17 constituent and 12 affiliated colleges in the current academic session. The online submission of applications for admission to BA, BSc and BCom besides BBA, BCA and Biotechnology courses (under vocational stream) commenced on May 28 and the same will end on June 15.
In Jai Prakash University, Chhapra, the online submission of applications for admission to all its undergraduate courses in different streams commenced on June1. The last date of submission of applications for admission in its different colleges is June 20.
All other universities of the state are in process of announcing their schedules for online admission to the UG courses in their constituent as well as affiliated colleges soon.
