Coimbatore gets four new deputy commissioners of police

COIMBATORE: Four new deputy commissioners have been posted for the Coimbatore city police.
G S Mathavan has been posted as deputy commissioner of North while N Silambarasan will take charge as deputy commissioner of South. R Sughasini and N Mathivanan have been posted as deputy commissioners for headquarters and traffic, respectively.
All the four officers were promoted to the rank of superintendents of police from additional superintendents of police.
Recently, city police commissioner Pradip Kumar was transferred, and V Balakrishnan was appointed to the post. The new city police commissioner is yet to take charge.
