Wednesday's child is full of woe in the first teaser for Netflix's upcoming twisted new series.
Jenna Ortega stars as the iconic character Wednesday Addams in the live-action series directed by Tim Burton.
In the 41 second clip Ortega is seen braiding her hair before stepping into the spotlight accompanied by The Thing.
"Netflix woefully presents a twisted new series from the mind of Tim Burton," reads a title card.

According to the streaming service, the eight-episode series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday's years as a Nevermore Academy student.
Other cast members include Christina Ricci who played the character in the 90s movies, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, and Gwendoline Christie.
