Women attack cops inside police station

Rajkot: Three women went on a rampage inside a police station in Jamnagar, assaulting the cops and vandalizing the furniture.
The incident happened in B-division police station, where the women were brought for questioning after people saw them fighting on the road. They blocked the traffic for a long time near DKV Circle and someone informed the cops.
A police mobile van reached there to disperse them, but they entered into a heated argument with the cops.

When they were brought to the police station, the women again started fighting among themselves. When police asked them to exercise restraint, Ruchi allegedly attacked a woman constable named Chandani, slapped her and kicked her. When another constable Chandrika intervened, Ruchi tried to attack her too.
Jitendra, a male constable, tried to separate them but Ruchika lifted the chair and hurled it at him. She also allegedly tore his shirt.
