Man brutally beaten by neighbour dies

Rajkot: A 45-year-old man, who was brutally beaten by his neighbour in a village of Jamnagar district on June 3, succumbed at a private hospital in Ahmedabad late on Sunday night.
A-division police in Jamnagar have booked Hemendra Shiyani alias Hemant Maharaj for the murder of Kishore Adesara. Both live in Dhunvav village close to Jamnagar city.
On June 3, Adesara was sitting outside his house at the housing board quarters when Shiyani passed from there and made some comments. After a brief altercation, Shiyani in a fit of rage started thrashing Adesara. He sat on his chest and later pounded him with his legs.
Adesara was rushed to the GG Hospital in Jamnagar and later to Ahmedabad where he died of severe internal bleeding, police said.
The complaint was lodged by the deceased’s brother Govind.
