Rahul Gandhi visits singer Sidhu Moose Wala's family in Punjab's Mansa

MANSA: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday visited slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s house in Mansa district of Punjab.

Rahul Gandhi, accompanied by Raja Warring, CLP leader Pratap Singh Bajwa and many others, spent over half an hour with Sidhu Moose Wala's father Balkaur Singh offering condolences.

He also recalled the achievements of Sidhu Moosewala which the late singer had earned in a very small time of his life.
Rahul Gandhi reached village Moosa via road after landing at Chandigarh. Elaborate security arrangements were made for his visit.

After sitting with father in the open, he also spent some time inside the residence with the family. Raja Warring told Rahul Gandhi about the law and order situation in Punjab.

When Sidhu Moose Wala had joined Congress on December 3, 2021, the then Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu and present president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring had taken him to meet Rahul Gandhi at Delhi and had projected him as a youth icon.
