Haryana sees 227 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours

CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Tuesday reported 227 new Covid cases and 207 recoveries during the day while 22,798 vaccine doses were administered.
No fatality was reported while 15 patients were hospitalised.
With this, the cumulative Covid count of the state has gone to 1,004,026 cases, 9,92,564 recoveries, 10,621 deaths and 818 active cases. Of the total active cases, 803 are in home isolation.
The highest, 142 new cases were reported from Gurugram followed by 46 from Faridabad. Rewari reported 12 cases followed by five cases from Kurukshetra. Four cases each were reported from Rohtak and Panchkula.
Three cases each were reported from Bhiwani and Jhajjar and two cases each were reported from Hisar and Ambala districts. While one case each was reported from Karnal, Panipat, Fatehabad and Kaithal districts.
On the vaccination front, 1,866 people received the first dose and 9,080 people were administered the second dose while booster shot was given to 11,852 people. The cumulative vaccination coverage of the state has gone to 43,591,519.
