Search on for missing Chinese sailor

Mangaluru: The Coastal Security Police (CSP) has launched a search for a Chinese crew member who was onboard a cargo vessel, and was reported missing about 70 nautical miles off Surathkal, about a month ago.
According to the police, the missing crew member is Zen Ping, 52. He was reported missing on May 10, and the same was reported to the Gujarat police on May 28.
The Panama flag vessel was on its way to Mundra Port, Gujarat. The Gujarat police informed the Indian Coast Guard on June 1, following which a search has been launched for the sailor, and a missing case has been filed. A team from the Coastal Security Police has left for Gujarat. tnn
