The Eset NetProtect can be offered via mobile networks or fixed network connections to protect customer devices connected to telco and ISP networks (fixed or mobile) against malicious web domains or domain categories such as malware, phishing, and potentially unwanted content.
With Eset NetProtect, users also have full control of their children’s filters through Web Content Filter. The management portal for end users allows them to manage the Eset NetProtect settings of their connected devices, manage their domain whitelists and blacklists, and generate security reports, which gives insight into how Eset protects their devices and summary information about detected threats, and blocked pages.
The network-level solutions do not require any software installation on end user devices, which are compatible with both Android and iOS. It is provided as a one-click service activation from the users’ trusted internet provider and automatically provide protection to any connected device.
Eset Australia country manager Kelly Johnson says recent years have seen consumers face a changing online threat environment in ISPs and telcos, and cybersecurity solutions need to adapt too.
“We’ve seen from our own research in Australia how both children and parents have had to deal with some complex online environments in terms of threats,” Johnson says.
“We think our NetProtect offering deals with the evolving online environments, both for the telco and ISP sector, and for their customers.”
“NetProtect provides internet security available via a single click and control via a management portal. We see ourselves and our technologies as the guardians of progress that digital technology enables and our objective is to provide effective digital security that keeps consumers safe in every moment and in any eventuality.”
