'This is my life; this is my truth', says Kelly Khumalo in trailer for new season of reality show

  • In this season, she will, among other things, share her feelings about Senzo Meyiwa's family, Jub Jub and Brenda Mtambo.
  • Season 3 will be available for streaming from 5 July.


Kelly Khumalo will get candid about multiple relationships in her personal life, which have caught the public's attention, in the upcoming third season of her award-winning reality show, Life with Kelly Khumalo.

According to a press release by Showmax the award-winning singer will share her feelings about the family of her former lover and father of her second child, Senzo Meyiwa, the social media posts her first child's father Jub Jub made on Mother's Day, her friendship with Brenda Mtambo and cancel culture.

The streaming service released the trailer for the upcoming season on Monday.

The season starts in April 2022 when Khumalo once again found herself on the Twitter trends list following the release of Senzo: Murder of a Soccer Star on Netflix. The true-crime docuseries dives into the evidence related to the former soccer star's murder.

In the trailer, the Esphambanweni hitmaker says: "They hate the fact that I am the one who did not die on that day."

She also speaks about life's challenges and that no one said it would be easy.

"Remember that the higher you rise, the harder you can fall," she adds.

Throughout the season, her fans and followers will also see Khumalo on stage for the first time, while she works on "her most anticipated album yet" and as she grows her business empire.

Khumalo will also be seen as she continues therapy, and parenting her two children, Christian and Thingo. She also works on her relationships with her mother, Ntombi, and her estranged sister, Zandi Khumalo-Gumede.
