Bianca Naidoo opened up about her late husband, Riky Rick's passion for the youth in her first interview since his sudden death in February.

The interview is featured in Olwethu Leshabane's Art of Superwoman digital magazine. In the article, Naidoo shares how Riky, real name Rikhado Makhado, was always looking for ways to give the youth a voice so they could "one day earn a seat at the table."

"He selflessly dedicated a lot of his time, his energy, and his focus to helping develop and mentor youth," she said. "It was hugely important for him to find ways to help them elevate themselves and to grow.”

Naidoo also shared that the passion for empowering youth was something they had in common. "I will continue to work towards realising this vision," she said.

In a video accompanied with the interview Naidoo opened up about her shyness.

"Because I am shy, people assume that I am unhappy, which is far from the truth," she said.
