NOIDA: The Sanjay Gandhi PGI in Lucknow and Post-Graduate Institute of Child Health in Noida signed a deal on Sunday under which both the institutes will collaborate on teaching, training and biomedical research.
Postgraduate students of both the institutes will get an opportunity to visit the campuses in
Lucknow and Noida and participate in teaching-training programmes and scientific research, discussions, lectures, etc.
Apart from joint research projects, the institutes will organise seminars, conferences and training programmes.
The institutes will also make collaborative efforts for social outreach programmes for the benefits of patients. Both the institutes are super-specialties, where treatment and research work are conducted simultaneously. After the agreement, students of both the institutes will get greater exposure in their training for doctors.
The agreement was signed by Prof. RK Dhiman, the director of SGPGI, and Prof Ajay Singh, the director of
PGICH in Noida.
