Chandigarh: 2 arrested for stealing mobiles

CHANDIGARH: Police arrested two people, including a juvenile, for allegedly stealing mobile phones from a shop in Sector 35 on May 21 night.
Police recovered 19 stolen mobile phones from the accused. One of them is identified as Deepender (21), a resident of Industrial Area, Phase I. Kapil Dev, a resident of Jujhar Nagar, Mohali, reported an unknown person had stolen around 20-22 mobile phones from his shop after breaking locks and glasses. During the course of investigation, police arrested Deepender and apprehended a juvenile carrying mobile phones in a bag in Sector 35 market on Saturday. A court remanded Deepender to police custody.
