Ludhiana: The Division 6 police arrested three men with illegal weapons, live cartridges and drugs on Saturday. The police have recovered country-made double and single barrel pistols of .315 bore, a .32 bore pistol, 47 live cartridges and two 7.64 bullets from their possession.
The police suspect the accused were hatching a conspiracy to carry out a major snatching or loot.

Bobby Singh and Anmol Thakur of Manohar Nagar and
Deepak of Muradpura are being questioned.

Madhu Bala, along with her team, had put up a checkpoint near Pahwa hospital crossing following a tip-off. The accused were crossing by the area on a bike when they were stopped. During checking, illegal weapons and ammunition were recovered from them. Besides, 25g heroin and an electronic weighing machine were found on Bobby.”
“It is being investigated from where they procured the weapons and cartridges and what was their plan. Accused Bobby already has a case under the NDPS Act against him,” he added.
