Vadodara: At 76.49%, Vadodara registered lowest pass percentage in entire Gujarat as results of class 12 general stream were declared by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Saturday.
Within the district, the
Dabhoi exam centre registered the lowest pass percentage at 56.43 % while Vadodara central jail exam centre was the only one that registered cent percent results.
A total of 17,525 students had appeared for the
HSc (general) stream exams from Vadodara district. Of these, 48 students have cleared their exams with A1 grade and 607 students with A2 grade. There are 1,743 students who have received B1 grade whereas 2,710 students have received B2 grade.
The highest number of students – 3,056 – have cleared their exams with C1 grade. Another 1,834 students have cleared their exams with C2 grade whereas 149 students have cleared their exams with D grade. There are three students who have received E1 grade.
After the Vadodara central jail exam centre,
Shinor exam centre registered the highest pass percentage at 92.55 %, followed by
Mook Bahdir exam centre of Raopura which registered 85.71 %. The Sama exam centre and Mandvi exam centre registered 81.07 % and 81.02 % respectively while the pass percentage at other exam centres was in the range of 69 % and 79.73 %.
