Chennai: Law student found dead at private hostel in Taramani

CHENNAI: A third-year law college student was found hanging at a private hostel in Taramani on Friday.
Sheik Salman, was a native of Kallidaikurichi in Tirunelaveli and was pursuing BCA LLB (hons) at Dr Ambedkar Law College, said police.
According to Sheik's father Mubarak, his son remained depressed for the last one month. On Friday afternoon, he hanged himself inthe room of a private hostel in Taramani, where he had been staying, when his roommates were out. The hostel authorities found him hanging from the ceiling and alerted police. A suicide note recovered from the room said none was responsible for his decision. A case has been registered.
