New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) launched its integrated as well as individual websites for 49 NDMC and Navyug schools on Friday. Link/URL for each school’s website will be given on the integrated website. “The facility aims to improve communication between students and educators, and engage parents,” said NDMC chairman Dharmendra after launching the website (education. ndmc. gov. in).

Amid an escalating AAP-BJP fight over corruption charges against Satyendar Jain, the Enforcement Directorate has claimed to have mapped at least eight transactions of ‘unsecured loans’ of more than Rs 16 crore that flowed into the shell companies allegedly floated and controlled by Jain. In yet another push towards promoting electric mobility in the national capital, Delhi government has approved the first batch of electric cycle models that will be eligible for a subsidy of Rs 5,500, under its ambitious electric vehicle (EV) policy. TOIwas the first to report earlier this year that the AAP government plans to add electric cycles under the EV policy’s ambit to provide subsidies and become the first state in the country to do so.

Parts of Delhi witnessed ‘heatwave’ and ‘severe heatwave’ conditions onSunday. Last week’s accident involving an unruly cluster bus driver, who rammed into seven vehicles in North East district’s Shastri Park and left at least nine people severely injured, has put the spotlight back on the menace involving these buses in the city.In the last three years, at least 76 people have died and over 100 injured in accidents involving cluster buses. Last year, 25 people were killed in 22 accidents involving these buses, data shows.
