UP: Russian woman reaches Pratapgarh by mistake, police send her to embassy in Delhi

PRAYAGRAJ: A joint team of Pratapgarh district police and district authorities on Friday sent a Russian woman back to Russian embassy in Delhi after she lost her way and reached Pratapgarh late on Wednesday night.
The police and district administration team found it difficult to connect with the woman as she was not able to understand English or Hindi and was speaking her native language only, likely Russian.
Mahila Thana cops claimed that the Russian woman was spotted inside a train from Ayodhya which reached Pratapgarh junction late on Wednesday night.
The women cop team had taken her to one stop centre for stay but the cops failed to connect with her due to language barrier.
Police said the woman had come to India on tourist visa but her documents went missing. Later, police team found that her name is Ola and she is resident of Luis city.
