Thieves strike at 3 houses in Model Town Extension

Ludhiana: A gang of burglars targeted three houses in C-Block of Model Town Extension in the wee hours of Friday.
The police said five suspects have been captured on the CCTV cameras installed in the area.
Manmeet Singh of Model Town Extension said in his police complaint, “We came to know about the burglary around 6 am. As the thieves had bolted our rooms from outside, we asked our relatives, who live nearby, to come home. We then found cash and jewellery stolen from another room.”
From the second house, the thieves stole Rs 10,000 and jewellery. They also ate fruits and drank juice there.
From the third house, the burglars escaped empty-handed.
Sub-inspector Varinder Pal Singh, SHO of Model Town, said some of the miscreants were captured on the CCTVs.
