Two men murdered in separate incidents in Mathura

AGRA: Two men including a watchman at an interlocking factory were killed in separate incidents in Mathura on Friday night.
In Nawada area, a 60-year-old Durga Prasad, who worked as a watchman in an interlocking brick kiln factory was killed by unidentified assailants, who also tried to crush him under a tractor.
The man was allegedly bludgeoned to death after his hands and legs were tied up. His body has been sent for postmortem and FIR has been registered under IPC section 302 (murder) at highway police station.
SP (city) MP Singh said that the motive behind the murder is still not clear. The victim had head injuries.
The second incident was reported from the Kosi Kalan area where a 50-year-old Babu Kumar was allegedly hacked to death with a spade by his cousin brother over a property dispute. The incident took place when Babu went to his fields for irrigating the crops on Saturday morning, said police.
The body has been sent for post mortem and the weapon which was used for committing the crime was recovered from the crime spot, said police. The accused is absconding.
