Maharashtra: Kalyan man killed in road mishap

THANE: A 38-year-old Kalyan resident was killed in a road mishap on the Nashik Mumbai highway, near Thane, Friday afternoon, police informed.
The victim, Anupam Tripathi, was travelling alone in his car and was probably speeding when he lost control over the vehicle as it slipped and fell in the ditch along the road, near Saket bridge, Kapurbawdi police informed.
"Initial probe revealed the driver was at fault and so we have registered a case under section 304, (a) against him," informed inspector Sandeep Dhande at the Kapurbawdi police station.
