Suresh Kumar on Wednesday said the textbook revision row will not impact the academics. Asserting that chief minister Basavaraj Bommai will put an end to the row, he said the controversy will be resolved within a couple of days. “Bommai has heard views and criticism on the matter from various quarters with an open mind. He has discussed the issue with education minister Nagesh,” he told reporters.
The senior leader said the minister will meet the writers who have withdrawn their consent given to use their works in the textbooks, and explain to them the measures initiated.
