Six held for pelting stones at cops

Vadodara: Six persons were arrested on Wednesday for pelting stones on cops who went on a raid to save goats meant for sacrifice.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night on Vasna-Bhayli Road where about 40 goats were to be sacrificed for religious rituals.
People for Animals (PFA) volunteers got information about the sacrifice and reached the spot to stop the activity when some persons present at the spot started to pelt stones at the volunteers.
They called the police for protection but the mob pelted stones at the cops too.
However, no one was injured in the incident.
Cops later dispersed the mob and identified the stone pelters.
