Sonia Gandhi tested positive for
Covid-19.
"She has developed mild fever, some symptoms and has isolated herself. She has been given requisite medical attention," Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala informed mediapersons on Thursday.
The news of Sonia Gandhi testing positive for Covid comes a day after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) issued summons to her and son
Rahul Gandhi in the
National Herald case.
Sonia is scheduled to appear before the ED on June 8.
"As of today, her date of appearance before ED on June 8th stands as it is," Surjewala said.
