A cultural awakening started since 2014, says Amit Shah

NEW DELHI: A cultural awakening has started in the country since 2014 and it has taken India to greatness it deserved, Union home minister Amit Shah said on Wednesday.
He was speaking after the special screening of Hindi feature film 'Samrat Prithviraj' at a prominent Delhi theatre in presence of lead stars including Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar.
“Samrat Prithviraj is not only the story of an unparalleled warrior who fought bravely for our motherland, but it also reflects the greatness of our culture,” Shah said after watching the movie.
He said the film depicts the Indian culture of respecting and empowering women.
“Our 1,000 years of fight has not been in vain, a cultural awakening started in India in 2014, and it will again take India to the heights it was once at,” the Union home minister said.
He further said that overcoming many obstacles and difficulties, today India's pride, greatness, culture and our ‘Swadharma’ have once again restored to the same glory.
