Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Thursday at 11:00AM

KRISHANA(up 2.95%), & Petrochemicals(up 2.51%), & Fertilizers(up 1.93%), & Fertilizers(up 1.78%), & Chemicals(up 0.84%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.74%) and Aries Agro(up 0.19%) were among the top gainers.

Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 5.38%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 4.87%), ZUARIAGRO(down 4.06%), Agro Phos(down 3.89%), Coromandel International(down 3.24%), G S F C(down 2.58%), Fertilizers (down 2.10%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 1.04%), Madras Fertlizers(down 0.98%) and National Fertilizer(down 0.96%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 4.95 points down at 16517.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 47.15 points at 55428.32 at around 11:00AM.

Reliance Industries(up 2.47%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.81%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.63%), Coal India(up 1.22%), Tata Consultancy(up 0.98%), Infosys(up 0.79%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.63%), Cipla(up 0.51%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.49%) and Wipro(up 0.45%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Enterprises(down 4.51%), Hero MotoCorp(down 3.21%), SBI Life(down 2.12%), Hindustan Unilever(down 2.03%), HDFC(down 1.59%), Shree Cement(down 1.59%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.48%), JSW Steel(down 1.35%), Grasim Industries(down 1.24%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.22%) were trading in the red.
